Let’s Play Game Of Online Dating

In a study of Online Dating, carried by Rosen in 2008 it was found that use of intense emotionality words like 'excited' and 'wonderful' always makes a better impression on both men and women when it comes to their online relationship. The study also emphasized on impact of self disclosure though, overall people taken in sample for research preferred relatively low levels of self disclosure.

Not all, but many Online Dating partners go for internet dating because they want to meet someone new in the flesh. In a survey of 759 Totally Free Online Dating users, Rosen et al. (2008) found that 51% of people had made for a real date within one week or one month of receiving replies from each other. This first meeting between two cyber mates is considered as the final part of the screening process. Is this person really who he/she said he/she is? And, if so, is there any chemistry? , your mind starts asking questions like that on your very first real date.

Despite all the positive things Online Dating research has to say about it, there is no doubt that this medium of dating can be unsatisfying sometimes. Part of the problem is that people are encouraged by dating sites to think in industrial terms, revealed by a study carried out by Heino et al in year 2010.When 132 Online Dates were surveyed by Frost et al. in year 2008, it was revealed that they spent 7 times as long in screening other people's profiles and sending emails to them before going out for real date. Irrespective of what researchers have to justify about it, online dating users are increasing exponentially every single minute passing by and definitely ready to play game of online dating.
